Nice

Did you change it from the last upload? As in, should I redownload it =P?

Rawrthaas responds:

still the same!

Very nice

I like the more melodic focus that your music has been taking recently. This is no exception.

Rukkus responds:

Thanks man. I agree. A good melody/ composition seems to be more important than fancy effects.

Very good

Fucked around in Albino 3 for a bit, it's quite easy to use.

edit: let me go into more detail:

So after getting a sound I liked by messing around with the oscillators for a bit, I had to figure out the wobble garbage. I put an LFO in Albino's internal mixer thing, and linked it to the cutoff on one of its internal filters. Mind you, I had no idea what I was doing, this was all just dicking around.

After that, I had to figure out how to tie the "LFO 1 Sync" variable to an automation clip. Unfortunately, this is the easiest way to do that:

In the browser on the left, open up Current Project. Now click Generators > Fruity Wrapper (Albino3). Scroll down to the FIRST OCCURRENCE of "LFO 1 Sync" (for some fucked up reason, everything repeats itself like 500 times and none of them work except the first). Right click > Make automation clip.

At this point, the browser menu will close completely, and you get to enjoy sifting through the menus again.

Open Albino up and set the Sync to the value you'd like it to be for this automation clip. Right-click that first occurrence of "LFO 1 Sync" again and Copy Value. Open up the Automation Clip you created earlier and set either the MIN or MAX value to the current value by rightclick-pasting. Now you can use that automation clip on MIN or MAX while the song is playing to set the sync. Every time you want to make a new automation clip (which you have to, unless you just want two wobble speeds), you have to repeat THE ENTIRE FUCKING PROCESS. By the way, the menus all closed again.

edit 2: Here, have my flp if it helps. I'm not uploading all the media though, it'll take hours on my shitty connection. Fortunately, I'm pretty sure it was just Albino 3 and VEC3 that I used in this, plus a couple clips of me screaming "UH" into my mic. I felt a little ridiculous doing that.

edit 3: Oh, I forgot that I also used Rescue, Ohmicide, and iZotope Ozone 4. Plus a free drum pack for FPC called "Real Drums" or something, you can download that through FPC's little downloader thing.

Great

This is really good ;)
Continue it =D

culmor30 responds:

I'll try to find the motivation to finish it, lol.

Gratz

Gratz on top 30. Very well deserved...

Burn7 responds:

Thanks man, I'm glad it got on here!

Nice

I pretty much shared your opinion of the original - the song was epic, but the vocals were meh at best.

This was amazing.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much, dude. Glad you dig it.\m/

As it is

The second one sounds better, but only if it's by itself. I imagine that if you had a background or even a layered synth, the first one would probably be better.

dj-Nate responds:

Interesting concept.. I'll definitely try something like that once I get home. Maybe an arpeggiated synth but not affected by the sidechain

Woah

Wait, are you Russian?

This was good ;)

Kazmo responds:

Nope, I'm Canadian :D

Thanks!
